Who We Are

Keswick House Nursery School is a privately owned and family-run Nursery offering children a high quality education in an environment where every individual is valued for who they are and for their contributions to our strong school community.

Our Early Years curriculum nurtures children’s confidence in exploring the world around them and in their creativity. They are encouraged to adopt important values such as friendship, courage, kindness, co-operation and perseverance.

We believe every child is unique thus their individual learning pathway will be tailored to suit their own interests and lines of inquiry, ensuring a love of learning is fostered.

We aim to create a strong learning environment that will not only enhance children’s aspirations to perform to the best of their ability but will also develop the children’s personal, social and emotional skills.

We will be hosting another free dedicated Primary Schools’ Fair on Thursday 8th May. Heads and senior leadership teams from leading South-West London schools will be attending, including The Roche School, Wimbledon Prep School, Putney High School, Wimbledon High School, Merlin, Ibstock, and many more. Welcome Message

“During my 27 years leading Keswick House Nursery School, I have been truly fortunate to watch so many children flourish in the Nursery environment. In such a short space of time they have the capacity to overcome their initial hesitancy and develop into confident and adventurous little learners. The children leave us brimming with confidence and ready to face new challenges. Their potential and enthusiasm never cease to amaze me. We always know when our job is finally done...

2025 Testimonials

"All three of our children have attended Keswick House and each one of them has absolutely loved their experience at the nursery. The level of care and attention is exceptional and they really do tailor their approach to each child's individual needs. The quality of teaching is second to none and forms a solid foundation for starting primary school. The children are always more than Reception ready. The nursery focuses on creating well-rounded and happy children. It truly is a fantastic place for pre-school children."

“Thank you for an amazing two years, I couldn’t ask for a better Nursery for my son. I am just amazed at how far my son has come since he joined as a shy three year old. It’s all down to the Nursery and the staff.”

"We love Keswick House nursery! Our son is absolutely thriving there. They have wonderful activities, forest school, trips and importantly the communication with the teachers is fantastic. We highly recommend it and will send our younger son there too."

"My three children have all been through Keswick House and I couldn't recommend it more highly. I would especially recommend it to parents looking for a more academic educational route as there is a lot of focus on phonics, numeracy and learning in general.
The nursery provides the whole package. They learn so much. They have fun. They are brilliantly cared for. They make great friends. There is a big garden to play in. They leave very well prepared for Reception."
